Indi Foerster is an artist currently residing in Portland Oregon, whose nomadic life resists fixed boundaries of what it means to have a home. They are a multimedia artist whose work navigates themes of catharsis, nature, disorientation, and grief. Through painting, Foerster explores memory not only as a relived experience, but as a universal and natural landscape where trauma, identity, and perception interact. By confronting the fragility of recollection, Foerster draws upon the ambiguity of existence, creating works that reflect their personal reckoning with reconfiguring the self.
