About

My work embodies catharsis in its simplest form, exploring the delicate process of memory and its role in shaping identity. My paintings explore themes of nature, deterioration, and loss of agency, asking what it means to face unrest and empowerment in the face of constant change and brutalization. It pursues not only acts of remembering, but the quiet spaces between memory and forgetting, where identity is formed, dissolved, and reimagined. Through this retracing, I hope not to find a solution, but a release that speaks to the shared human condition. It is through this confrontation of one’s own lived experience, with all its contradictions and nuances, that art can reveal new dimensions of understanding. My practice is an invitation to engage with this reflection and examine the self through a dissection of the mind and a re-connection with the Earth.
